PCGS 1917 Walking Liberty Half AU-58

This 1917 Walking Liberty Half Dollar was graded at AU-58 (about uncirculated 58 out of a possible 70) and encapsulated in hard acrylic by PCGS. The coin has some slight discoloration on the obverse, and some moderate discoloration on the reverse. All of which can be seen in the enlarged pictures provided.

The Walking Liberty half dollar was designed by Adolph A. Weinman and was minted from 1916-1947. Weinman’s monogram “AW” appears under the tips of the wing feathers on the reverse. The coins have reeded edges, and were minted at the Philadelphia, Denver, and San Francisco Mints.
