PCGS 1942-D Walking Liberty Half MS-65
This 1942-D (Denver Mint) Walking Liberty half dollar was graded at MS-65 (mint state 65 out of a possible 70) and encapsulated in hard acrylic by PCGS (Professional Coin Grading Service.) This coin can be seen in greater detail in the enlarged pictures provided.
The Walking Liberty half dollar was designed by Adolph A. Weinman and was minted from 1916-1947. Weinman’s monogram “AW” appears under the tips of the wing feathers on the reverse. The coins have reeded edges, and were minted at the Philadelphia, Denver, and San Francisco Mints.
