This is an unusual hand crafted piece. 14k, yellow gold, brooch is constructed out of 3 separate pieces soldered together to make a gold rhinoceros. Nice texturing on gold and a polished horn. The brooch is flush-set with 75, round brilliant cut diamonds. The combined weight of the diamonds is approximately 3.00 carats. The average clarity of the diamonds is SI1 and the color range is G-I. The rhino has a single, 1.8mm sapphire for an eye. Signed "N.F.S." on the back lower corner and stamped 14k. Weight of the piece is 25.2 grams.
